Music on the Hill™, a free summer concert series at St. John's College, brings you Bert Dalton and his group playing Brazilian jazz on Wednesday, June 10. The concert begins at 6 p.m. on the athletic field at St. John's College and is open to the public. The series will continue through July, with performances every Wednesday, except for the week of July 1, representing a wide range of musical styles including jazz, world music, and contemporary folk. This year, St. John’s College is also pleased to partner with FAM JAM!, the Santa Fe affiliate of Music Together, a national program designed to help children and families grow through music. FAM JAM! will present an event before the show, starting at 4:45 p.m. Families are encouraged to come early and make music together!
Food and beverages may be purchased from Walter Burke Catering. Concertgoers are also encouraged to picnic on the field. Sorry, no pets allowed on campus.
In case of inclement weather requiring cancellation of a concert, the St. John’s College switchboard (505-984-6000) and the college’s website will have updated information.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the St. John’s College Music on the Hill™ series, this year we have worked with the City of Santa Fe to ensure smooth traffic management and parking options both on- and off-campus. A drop-off location near the entrance to the athletic field on Camino Cruz Blanca has been designated. A map of parking options is available by clicking here.
