If your New Year’s resolution includes expressing your creative side, consider enrolling in a fine arts class through St. John’s College’s Continuing Education and Fine Arts Program. These programs, scheduled on weekday evenings or weekend mornings, are held on the Annapolis campus and are open to the public. Spring fine arts classes begin February 13 and the registration deadline is two weeks before the start of each class. Tuition for fine arts workshops is $185.
Students of all ages, from college undergraduates to retirees, learn side-by-side in these fine arts workshops led by accomplished instructors. Writers can hone their craft this spring in a new four-week writing class, “Strength of Character,” led by Laura Oliver. “Sculpture: Stone Carving,” led by D. H. Banker, “Painting Light,” led by Jean Brinton Jaecks, and “Beginning and Intermediate Pottery with Raku Firing,” led by John Jensen are among the workshops.
For complete descriptions of all the program offerings, instructor biographies, or to register, contact Molly Burnett at 410-626-2881 or email@example.com, or visit www.stjohnscollege.edu, click on “outreach.”
